


National Success
- Festus Kigen participated at both the 2007 and 2008 NCAA National Cross Country Championships during his career with the Frogs. With Kigen competing at the 2008 NCAA Cross Country Championships, the Frogs have now had a representative in the national competition in five of the last seven seasons.
- The Frogs have had seven runners earn a berth at the NCAA National Cross Country Championships since 2003 in Mary Kinyanjui (two times), Ami Butler, Calandra Stewart, Kip Kangogo and Festus Kigen (two times).
- Eliud Njubi captured All-American recognition at the 2000 NCAA Cross Country Championships after placing 28th overall
NCAA Championships
- The Frogs have finished in the top-10 in the final standings at the NCAA South Central Regional on eight occasions between the men’s and women’s cross country squads since 2002.
- The Frogs have had eight individual place in the top-10 at the NCAA South Central Regional to go along with a pair of championships and three top-five showings over the last eight seasons.
- A two-time All-South Central Regional selection, Festus Kigen finished fourth overall at the 2008 competition in the men’s 10K with a time of 30:35.0 for his highest finish at regional competition.
- The Frogs have captured the South Central Regional Championship individual crown on two occasions during their program history. TCU has placed either a male or female in the top-10 at the NCAA South Central Regional Championships four times in the last five seasons.
- The Frogs have been ranked in the regional rankings during the course of a season in each of Shawn Winget’s three campaigns directing the distance program.
