Carrie von Uhlit captured the 2009 Varsity Equestrian Reining National Championship.

  • Carrie von Uhlit was the 2009 Varsity Equestrian Reining National Champion. One of the most talented riders in the country, von Uhlit was a four-time AQHA Youth World Champion as well as the AQHA Reserve World Champion.
  • During her career, von Uhlit has collected over 1,800 AQHA points in 16 events to go along with 133 AQHA All-Around Titles. In addition, the former TCU rider was an AQHA AM World Champion, AQHA AM Reserve World Champion and is ranked in the AQHA AM World Top-10.
  • A two-time qualifier at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships, Courtney Chown garnered runner-up accolades in Horsemanship during the 2009 campaign.
  • The Frogs captured the 2008 Varsity Equestrian Western National Championship and became the first team in Varsity Equestrian history to earn a title in just its second year in Varsity Equestrian’s 12-year history. That season, the Frogs posted a 15-0 record in the Western Division and defeated Georgia to claim the national champship.
  • During the 2008 season, the Frogs’ Hunt Seat Team made its first-ever appearance at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships.
  • 2008 Western Squad went 15-0, while defeating Georgia for the Western National Championship
  • The Frogs garnered runner-up accolades in the Western Division in the 2009 Varsity Equestrian National Championships.
  • The Frogs made their first berth at the Varsity Equestrian National Championships and became the first program in Varsity Equestrian history to reach the post-season in just their first season as a program.
  • The Frogs finished fourth overall in the final standings at the 2010 Vasity Equestrian National Championships, which was their highest-ever finish as a team. The Western Division team notched a fifth-place finish while the Hunt Seat finished sixth overall during their competition.
