• The Frogs have had 18 players drafted in the NBA.
• Kurt Thomas was drafted by the Miami Heat in the 1995 NBA Draft with the 10^th overall pick. The former TCU standout has played 16 seasons in the NBA with the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, New York Knicks, Phoenix Suns, Seattle Supersonics, San Antonio Spurs, Milwaukee Bucks and Chicago Bulls. Thomas signed a two-year contract with Chicago in Summer 2010.
• Lee Nailon was selected in the second round of the 1999 NBA Draft and spent six seasons with the Charlotte Hornets, New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, Orlando Magic, Cleveland Cavaliers, New Orleans Hornets and Philadelphia 76ers.
• Jim Christian spent two years with Octagon Sports Marketing and Management as a college basketball talent evaluator working with over 20 NBA players, including Brendan Haywood, Jacque Vaughn and Chris Mihm.
• The Frogs have had several players go overseas over the last few seasons, including Kevin Langford (Germany), Zvonko Buljan (Turkey), Edvinas Ruzgas (Lithuania), Keion Mitchem (Germany), Nile Murry (China) and Corey Santee (Ukraine).
• Gene Schmidt was the first player drafted after being selected in the 1950 ABA Draft by the Houston Rockets.
• The Frogs had three players drafted in the 1987 NBA Draft in Carven Holcombe (4^th round | Cleveland Cavaliers), Carl Lott (5^th round | Cleveland Cavaliers) and Jamie Dixon (7^th round | Washington Bullets).
• Reggie Smith was drafted with the 31^st overall pick (2^nd round) of the 1992 NBA Draft by the Portland Trailblazers.
