


Adam Meyer was a third team All-American and Conference USA Golfer of the Year during his senior campaign.

- The Frogs have had 96 All-American, All-Region and All-Conference accolades in their history, which was achieved by 41 golfers. The Frogs have had multiple All-Americans on seven occasions with five of them coming under Montigel.
- The Frogs have had 21 All-American honors recorded by 16 golfers in program history. Chad Magee became the first golfer in program history to capture multiple All-American laurels in 1990 and 1991 while J.J. Henry became the program’s first three-time All-American.
- Alberto Ochoa became the first golfer in program history to claim first team All-American accolades during the 1997 season.
- Henry became the first golfer in program history to earn Golfweek/Taylor Made Co-Collegiate Player of the Year accolades during his senior campaign in 1998.
- Chad Magee was the Frogs’ first two-time All-American as he captured honorable mention All-American laurels in 1990 and 1991.
- Bill Montigel became the first coach in the country (of any sport) to earn Conference Coach of the Year accolades in four separate NCAA Division I conferences (Southwest Conference, Western Athletic Conference, Conference USA and Mountain West Conference). In all, Montigel has captured seven Coach of the Year awards.
- The Frogs have had five golfers capture Conference Golfers of the Year in Alberto Ochoa (1997), J.J. Henry (1998), Adam Rubinson (2003), Adam Meyer (2004) and J.J .Killeen (2005).
- The Frogs had five All-Americans prior to Montigel and 16 All-Americans since Montigel became head coach, including the program’s only two First Team All-Americans.
- The Frogs captured the Conference USA title in each of their four seasons as a member of the conference affiliate. Despite being in the conference for four seasons, the Frogs had three golfers earn a spot on the Conference USA All-Decade Team (Adam Meyer, Adam Rubinson and David Schultz).
