At the 2008 Mountain West Conference Championship the relay team of Jonathon Berrettini, Josh Bagby, Jeff Hendricks, and Scott McCracken won the Men’s 400-Free Relay.

History

  • The TCU women’s swimming program has produced 12 All-Americans, including Kelly Crowell – who was the program’s first NCAA All-American.
  • The TCU men’s swimming program has produced two All-Americans in Walter Soza and Jason Flint.
  • The Frogs have captured six conference titles with the men winning five crowns and the women claiming one championship.
  • TCU head coach Richard Sybesma has been named Conference Coach of the Year on five occasions and was selected as the Nicaraguan Olympic Swim Team Coach in 1996.
  • RJ Hesselberg became the first diver in TCU history to garner Mountain West Conference Diver of the Year honors in the 2008 season.
  • Becky Brill became the first TCU women’s swimmer to be inducted into the TCU Lettermen’s Association Hall of Fame after the former TCU standout garnered nine All-American accolades during her collegiate career.
  • Edgar Crespo advanced to the NCAA National Championships for the first time in his career in 2010 as a freshman. The TCU swimmer captured the 2010 Mountain West Conference title in the 100-breast.
  • The TCU men’s swimming program captured four consecutive Conference USA championships in four seasons as a conference affiliate.
  • The TCU women’s swimming team captured the first conference championship in program history in 2002 when the Frogs won the Conference USA crown.
  • The TCU women’s swimming program set a program record with eight All-American award winners during the 1982 season as an AIAW-member.
