The TCU women’s volleyball program embarked on a 10-day European Trip during summer 2009 where the team traveled to Hungary, Slovenia, Austria and Czech Republic.

Development

  • Two of the primary goals of the TCU women’s volleyball staff – who bring over 50 years of collegiate coaching experience to the table – are to educate their student-athletes and help them grow as individuals.
  • The Frogs embarked on a 10-day European Tour during the summer of 2009 where the team made stops in Hungary, Slovenia, Austria and the Czech Republic.
  • The TCU women’s volleyball program is involved in numerous community service projects, including the Reading Frogs Program and Habitat for Humanity.
  • The Frogs have had 30 student-athlete garner Academic All-America, all-district and all-conference accolades during Lewis’ tenure. In addition, the Frogs have also averaged 19.6 victories per season during that stretch.
  • The Frogs averaged a program-record 1,014 fans during the 2009 season, which ranked 44th among all NCAA Division I programs.
  • The TCU women’s volleyball program recorded a cumulative grade point average of 2.95 during the 2008-09 academic campaign.
  • Former TCU standout Kourtney Edwards was invited to tryout for the United States National Team. Edwards teamed with former player Calli Corley to represent TCU at the 2010 CBS College Sports Network Beach Volleyball Championships in Santa Barbara, Calif.
