1991 Southwest Conference champions—TCU earned its first Southwest Conference title, going 10-1 against the league.

Trophy Case

  • Over the years, several Horned Frogs have earned numerous honors both on the court and in the classroom. In total, 55 players have been honored 200 times with such distinctions as All-America, all-conference and academic All-America.
  • TCU has seen nine Frogs earn All-America acclaim with Ana Cetnik, Lucie Dvorakova, Nicole Leimbach, Nina Munch-Soegaard, Tory Plunkett, Rene Simpson, Anna Sydorska, Story Tweedie-Yates and Daria Zoldakova.
  • Additionally, 23 players have earned all-conference accolades and 35 have achieved academic praise. Story Tweedie-Yates, Saber Pierce and Anna Sydorska are the most decorated Horned Frogs with 11 honors during their careers.
  • In 2010, Senior Nina Munch-Soegaard, junior Katariina Tuohimaa and sophomore Kayla Duncan garnered All-MWC singles honors, while Duncan and Tuohimaa teamed up for all-Mountain West Conference doubles accolades for the second year in a row.
  • Head coach Dave Borelli was named Mountain West Conference Coach of the Year in 2006 while former Frog coach Jefferson Hammond captured the honor in 2008 and 2009.
  • Rene Simpson was inducted into the TCU Lettermen’s Association Hall of Fame in 2009.
